Andres Romero, Argentine professional golfer.
Andrew "Pigua" Romero, was born on May 8, 1981 in the Province of Tucumán, Argentina. She spent her childhood in Yerba Buena, Tucuman near the Jockey Club is a beautiful place where golf. From very small job as a caddy, and learned to play golf about 8 years. He suffered some health problems as a child and because of the poor condition of his family, could not be operated until 18 years of age. He became a golf professional in 1998.
Some successes in his short career are:
- 8th Position in the British Open 2006.
- 5th place World Cup (next to Angel Cabrera).
- 3rd place in the British Open 2007.
- Deutsche Bank Players Championship-European Tour Champion 2007.
- 6th WGC-Bridgestone Invitational Since 2007.
- Zurich Classic of New Orleans Champion 2008.
- 8th Masters Since 2008.
- PGA Championship 2008 7th place.
- Rookie of the Year 2008 PGA Tour.
Andres Romero is playing on the PGA TOUR and European Tour.
