Fringe: Leave the flag or not?

When the ball is on the fringe Golf (bordering the green part) and we have a shot putter fairly easy or easy to flag, different gameplay possibilities.

Sin Bandera

The possibilities of play are playing putt or chip shot to the flag - hole, or remove the flag and play the hole directly.

Today the staff of the flag is designed to bounce and suck the ball into the hole, that's why sometimes the ball hits the middle of the flagpole, and the same horn slips the ball to the hole (this is due to the material of the flags that helps). Consider leaving the flag in place.

Bandera Colocada

On the other hand are the players who take the flag in these cases and they like to throw a shot putt or chip shot to play the hole clean. Feelings are respected.

In conclusion: I find that playing with the flag is more advantageous, since the flag acts as: a) stop the ball, b) the material of the shaft "help" to get the ball if it touches the flag. If in these cases you have to throw the flag (always avoiding a long putt on the 2nd in case of failure).

Increase your chances of hole, leave the flag.
